On Wednesday night, FBI Director Kash Patel told Bret Baier on Special Report that information is coming out on the FBI agents and partners who were working on the ground on January 6th outside and inside the US Capitol.

That information has so far been withheld from the American public.

Kash Patel: But more importantly, people have had questions about January 6th and whether or not there were FBI sources, not agent sources, on the ground during January 6th. I told you I would get you the definitive answer to that, and we have. We are in the process, again, of working with our partners to divulge that information, and it is coming.

I will tell you this, the answer to that question will surprise and shock people because of what past FBI leaders have said about it.

Bret Baier: Former FBI Director Chris Wray eventually actually admitted to Congress there were 26 FBI confidential human sources in around the Capitol, January 6th, but not actual agents. Can you say that’s true? Are there more than that? What are you learning from that?

Kash Patel: I can say that that is definitely a piece of the truth. Why it took a ton of time and questioning in Congress for the Director to get that point is what I’m trying to eliminate from the We got. If Congress asks you a question under oath, whether or not there were sources in around January 6th at the Capitol, you as a Director of the FBI need to know that and not deflect and give a DC answer. You have to be prepared for that. That’s the answer we’re giving. That’s the answer Chris Wray should have given.

Bret Baier: Eventually, everybody’s going to know the whole picture.

Kash Patel: Yeah, because the American people deserve that. Look, no one’s more frustrated than me. Remember, I was Chief of Staff for the Department of Defense on January 6th. We said that we were ready and the President had previously authorized the National Guard to be there days in advance. I spent two years, a small fortune, grand juries, to testify to the truth. What happens now, years later? We were right. Bowser and Pelosi that offer. Instead of figuring out how to prevent security lapses like that ever again, the American public spent tens of millions of dollars and countless hours on TV listening to conspiracy theories because those in positions of leadership leadership fail to tell the American public the truth.

Once Again… This is not anything new for The Gateway Pundit readers. We have been tracking the many instances of likely government operatives or “partners” who were involved in the setup of innocent Trump supporters on January 6, 2021.

It all started when Nancy Pelosi refused to bring in National Guard soldiers to keep the peace that day. What did Old Nancy know about them that day?

In July 2022, TGP contributor Cara Castronuova released whistleblower documents, text messages, and audio transcripts of FBI informant James Knowles’s communications with his FBI handlers on January 6. The evidence exonerates Trump supporters and the Proud Boys of any conspiracy or planning to storm the US Capitol, to enter the US Capitol, or to overthrow official proceedings.

The evidence reported by Cara at The Gateway Pundit was explosive.

The FBI had evidence that there was "no conspiracy" or plans made by the Proud Boys and others to invade and take control of the US Capitol.  The FBI ignored this information from their own operative. They ran with lies about an insurrection instead.

On Thursday afternoon, September 30th, at 3:45 PM Eastern the FBI raided Jeremy Brown’s home and arrested Jeremy. The charge is trespassing. The FBI sent 20 vehicles for his arrest. DHS and Pinellas County law enforcement were also present. The FBI was in Jeremy's home for 5-and-a-half hours looking for evidence.

The FBI searched his house, RV, and trailer. Then they arrested Jeremy and took him away.

Jeremy's family contacted The Gateway Pundit the next morning.

Jeremy Brown is a Green Beret and former Republican candidate for Congress in Florida's 14th Congressional District. Brown served in the United States Army from 1992 to 2012 and reached the rank of Special Forces Master Sergeant.

Jeremy Brown NEVER entered the US Capitol on January 6. His actual crime was refusing to be an FBI informant, as we describe below.

Not only did Jeremy refuse to work as an FBI informant on January 6th, he went public with photos and audio of the conversations he had with agents.

As we reported months ago, Jeremy Brown refused to be an informant for the dirty FBI—they wanted him to be one of their operatives at the Jan. 6 Trump rallies.

According to an earlier TGP report:

The FBI called Jeremy's cellphone and asked for a meeting after trying to contact him at his house. Jeremy then met with the FBI agents at a restaurant in Ybor City in December. He told Brandon Gray that 38 seconds into the interview the FBI attempted to recruit him to spy on the Oath Keepers.

Jeremy refused to be an FBI informant, so they stormed his home and arrested him on bogus misdemeanor charges months after the Jan. 6 protests.

Jeremy Brown still sits in jail today, a year later - an innocent man who committed no crimes.

INCIDENT 5: AT LEAST 20 undercover FBI and ATF operatives and 3 undercover police officers were running operations in the crowd on January 6

The FBI finally admitted in September 2021 to The New York Times that they were running informants and operatives inside groups attending the January 6 rallies in Washington DC.

In fact, one of the first “protesters” inside the US Capitol was an FBI informant.

What a surprise!

There is also evidence that the US Capitol Police were also running informants and operatives inside the Trump crowd including members who entered the US Capitol with the protesters.

Now we learn that at least 20 assets from the FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives were embedded in the crowds at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Why has the FBI not followed up on several violent protesters who were caught on video?

The FBI also admitted they were using information supplied by Megan Paradisein their investigation and to charge others - even though she was never arrested!

According to Epoch Times:

The FBI used information supplied by Paradise, 33, of Los Angeles, in a statement of facts supporting Jan. 6 criminal charges against Eric S. Christie, 56, of Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Paradise was placed on the FBI's Jan. 6 most-wanted list as No. 9, but was never arrested or charged. Her name and photo are still on the list.

Paradise is also on the radar of Joseph McBride, a defense attorney for Richard "Bigo" Barnett, 63, of Gravette, Arkansas, who faces more than seven years in federal prison for what McBride called much the same behavior as Paradise on Jan. 6.

"Do I think that she is working with the government? To some extent, absolutely," McBride told The Epoch Times. "We've always believed that. It's unexplainable that she went in and essentially did what Richard Barnett did and she hasn't been prosecuted." The Epoch Times has no information to suggest that Paradise was working for or with the FBI on Jan. 6th.

We may never know how many confidential human sources the government was running in the massive crowd on January 6th.

We know there were dozens of operatives in the crowd.

INCIDENT 10: The FBI admitted in November 2022 that they were running at least 8 informants inside the Proud Boys in the months leading to January 6.

Was the FBI leading the insurrection?

INCIDENT 11: At least 3 FBI operatives or cutouts were speaking on the Oath Keepers "walkie-talkie" app used by the Oath Keepers on January 6th. They were THE ONLY ONES calling for violence!

We now know their names from the app: The government expressed little interest in identifying those behind the screennames on this chat-including 1% Watchdog, General Mark Davis CFA, and iWatchDirectorLaureen.

For some reason they were never questioned and the DOJ did not identify them at trial.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R‑SD) has unveiled a procedural scheme to block President Donald Trump from making any critical appointments during the August recess, effectively aiding the Democrats’ obstructionist agenda.

Under the U.S. Constitution, the president can make “recess appointments,” temporary appointments to federal positions, if the Senate is in recess and not conducting business. These appointments don’t require immediate Senate confirmation and can last until the end of the next session of Congress.

But there’s a loophole: if the Senate holds pro forma sessions, very short, symbolic meetings where no actual business is conducted, then technically, the Senate is still in session. That means the president cannot legally make recess appointments during that time.

John Thune has quietly secured unanimous‑consent for a paper‑thin Senate schedule through the Trump appointee confirmation deadline, ensuring only pro forma sessions on five key dates in early August.

Under the agreement, the chamber will adjourn after today’s business and reconvene without conducting any votes or business on:

  • Tue, Aug 5 – 1:00 p.m.
  • Fri, Aug 8 – 1:05 p.m.
  • Tue, Aug 12 – 8:00 a.m.
  • Fri, Aug 15 – 10:15 a.m.
  • Tue, Aug 19 – 10:00 a.m.
  • Fri, Aug 22 – 9:00 a.m.
  • Tue, Aug 26 – 12:00 p.m.
  • Fri, Aug 29 – 7:00 a.m.

Thune’s pro forma blueprint comes amid mounting pressure from Donald Trump, who has demanded the Senate remain open until all 150+ administration nominees are confirmed.

Under the Recess Appointments Clause, a president may only install nominees without Senate approval if both chambers are in formal recess for at least 10 days. By convening the Senate just long enough every few days, Thune blocks the possibility of Trump making unilateral appointees.

The Senate went into its August recess without confirming all of Trump’s pending judicial and district‑level appointments.

By the time lawmakers left town on Saturday evening, no deal had been reached to move dozens of Trump’s nominees, including U.S. district court picks, through final floor votes.

Only a small handful of nominees (such as Jeanine Pirro to be U.S. Attorney in D.C.) had advanced. Otherwise, nominees remained stalled in committees or waiting for cloture roll‑calls on the executive calendar.

Roughly 150–160 executive and judicial nominations, including over a dozen district court judges and U.S. attorney nominations, remained scheduled but unconfirmed.

‘That’s What I Call Results!’: Trump Admin Saves Jobs, Kicks 1500 Non-English-Speaking Truckers Off the Road

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy revealed that there have been about 1,500 truck drivers who do not speak English taken off the roads as part of a push to ensure foreign truck drivers are not causing accidents.

Back in 2016, the Obama administration stopped enforcing English proficiency requirements for truckers, according to a report from The Daily Signal.

But in May, Duffy issued a guidance making clear that truck drivers who cannot demonstrate a proficiency in English cannot drive.

The 1,500 drivers were taken off the roads within the first 3o days of the rules once more being enforced, according to The Daily Signal.

“Since I took action to enforce language proficiency requirements for truckers, our state partners have put roughly 1,500 unqualified drivers out of service. That’s what I call results!” Duffy posted on X.

“If you can’t read or speak our national language — ENGLISH — we won’t let your truck endanger the driving public.”

He added, “America First = Safety First.”

Duffy’s concerns were far from unfounded.

In January, there was a truck driver involved in a fatal crash that had to use a language interpreter for the post-crash investigation, according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

Another incident from 2019 involved a truck driver who could not proficiently speak English speeding through signs that warned of steep grades and dangerous curves, all at more than 100 miles per hour.

Four people died in that crash, per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

President Donald Trump had likewise insisted with an April executive order that the move centered on public safety.

“They should be able to read and understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety, border patrol, agricultural checkpoints, and cargo weight-limit station officers,” the order said of truck drivers.

They also “need to provide feedback to their employers and customers and receive related directions in English,” a position the order called “common sense.”

“It is the policy of my Administration to support America’s truckers and safeguard our roadways by enforcing the commonsense English-language requirement for commercial motor vehicle drivers and removing needless regulatory burdens that undermine the working conditions of America’s truck drivers,” the notice added.

“This order will help ensure a safe, secure, and efficient motor carrier industry.”

Slovenia Imposes Arms Embargo on Israel, Citing Gaza Conflict

Slovenia has imposed an arms embargo on Israel, banning the export, import, and transit of weapons to and from the country.

This decision was announced by Prime Minister Robert Golob following a government session on July 31, 2025.

Slovenia claims to be the first European Union member to take such a step, citing the EU’s inability to act due to internal disagreements.

The government stated that no permits for military exports to Israel have been issued since October 2023, when the conflict in Gaza began.

Officials emphasized that the embargo is an independent measure to address the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Slovenia has repeatedly called for a ceasefire and increased aid deliveries to the region.

In early July 2025, Slovenia declared two Israeli ministers, Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir, persona non grata, barring them from entry.

This action was based on their public statements regarding the conflict. Earlier, in June 2024, Slovenia recognized Palestinian statehood, joining countries like Ireland, Norway, and Spain in this move.

The conflict in Gaza started after the October 7, 2023, attack by Hamas on Israeli territory, which resulted in over 1,200 deaths and the taking of hostages.

Israel responded with a military operation aimed at dismantling Hamas infrastructure. Reports from Gaza’s health ministry indicate significant casualties, with ongoing international efforts to negotiate truces and provide aid.

Several other nations have taken similar diplomatic steps, including France, Britain, and Canada announcing potential recognition of a Palestinian state. Australia has also indicated that recognizing Palestinian statehood is under consideration.

Israel has criticized these declarations, arguing they could reward Hamas for its actions.

Israeli officials dismissed Slovenia’s embargo as insignificant, noting that Israel does not procure any defense materials from Slovenia.

An unnamed official stated that the country buys nothing from Slovenia, not even minor items.

Within the EU, there is growing pressure for measures against Israel, with Sweden and the Netherlands advocating for suspending parts of the EU-Israel Association Agreement.

The European Commission has proposed limiting Israel’s participation in the Horizon research program, though Germany opposes such steps.

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul expressed concerns about Israel’s potential diplomatic isolation during a visit to Jerusalem.

The United States remains a key ally to Israel, with President Donald Trump warning that recognizing Palestinian statehood might benefit Hamas.

U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff recently met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to advance Gaza truce talks. These efforts aim to address the humanitarian crisis and secure a ceasefire.
