ROSÉ met Jimmy Fallon at the 30 Rock studios on Tuesday night (Sept. 23), playing charades with the late-night star while also haunting him in the halls of his own studio with her global hit “APT.”
Returning to The Tonight Show about nine months after she served as a musical guest on the program, the BLACKPINK singer played on Fallon’s team against The Roots’ Tariq Trotter and guest Kate McKinnon during the hilarious guessing game. With ROSÉ successfully determining that the talk-show host was miming Sabrina Carpenter’s smash “Espresso” in the first round before acting out clues for Love Island, which Fallon also correctly guessed, it was a tie game left up to one last free-for-all round.
The last prompt ended up being “Elvis,” leading McKinnon and the K-pop star to launch into their respective best impressions of The King. Though ROSÉ’s embodiment of Elvis wasn’t quite as ambitious as the Saturday Night Live alum’s, with the singer shyly playing air guitar and rocking out with an invisible mic stand, Fallon secured their team’s victory by guessing the right answer just seconds before Trotter did.
“Yes!” ROSÉ cheered, wrapping Fallon in a celebratory hug.
The game night comes just a few weeks after the star’s Billboard Hot 100-topping duet with Bruno Mars, “APT.,” won song of the year at the 2025 VMAs. ROSÉ previously performed the smash on The Tonight Show in December, along with “Toxic Till the End” from her debut solo album Rosie.
In the months since she last appeared on the show, “APT.” has only become more and more inescapable — something ROSÉ and Fallon spoofed in a hilarious video while she was in the NBC building. In the clip, he wanders the dark halls of 30 Rock as a ghostly ROSÉ trails him, spooking him by singing parts of the track.
“Man, it’s almost scary how I can’t get that song out of my head,” Fallon says of “APT.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new civil abuse lawsuit from his longtime stylist Deonte Nash, months after the ex-employee testified against the hip hop mogul at his criminal trial.
In a case submitted Wednesday in a Los Angeles court, Deonte Nash accuses Combs of assault, sexual battery and other wrongdoing – the latest of dozens of such lawsuits filed against Diddy since abuse claims first surfaced in 2023.
The case from Nash, who also served as a stylist to Combs’ longtime girlfriend and alleged abuse victim Cassie Ventura, comes after he testified at the star’s blockbuster criminal trial in May, and less than two weeks before the star will be sentenced for his convictions on prostitution charges.
“Though defendants have silenced him for years, Mr. Nash is no longer willing to give in to this fear for his life and is now standing up to demand justice,” his lawyers write in the court filings.
In his lengthy complaint, Nash says Combs turned his dream of working as a celebrity stylist “into a nightmare that he was forced to endure nearly every single day” for the ten years he worked for the star from 2008 to 2018.
“Combs … subjected Mr. Nash to a decade of sexual and physical assault, sexual and verbal harassment, trafficking, degradation and humiliation, threats to his life and well-being, stalking, control, and psychological manipulation,” his lawyers write. “Combs used his power and threats of harm to compel Mr. Nash to do his bidding and prevent him from leaving defendants’ control.”
At a party in “2013 or 2014,” Nash says the star exposed his penis and moved closer to him until the stylist told him to stop. During another alleged incident in 2016, Nash says Diddy grabbed his hand and forced him to touch his penis. In yet another incident in 2018, he says the star “grinded” on his genitals in a “sexually-charged” way: “Mr. Nash felt violated and offended by this unwanted sexual touching.”
The lawsuit also claims Diddy subjected Nash to physical violence, as well as “unreasonable demands and expectations” as his stylist. He says he eventually had “no other choice” but to resign in 2018, but that Combs then “continued to threaten Mr. Nash after his employment ended.”
In a statement to Billboard on Wednesday, Diddy’s attorney Erica Wolff called Nash “another opportunist looking to profit off his proximity to celebrity” who had filed a lawsuit that was “riddled with falsehoods.”
“Mr. Nash’s tabloid-style accusations are insulting not only to Mr. Combs but also to the countless individuals who worked honorably and professionally within his companies,” Wolff said. “In court, the truth will prevail, as it did in his criminal trial: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—adult or minor, man or woman. Mr. Combs looks forward to clearing his name again in a court of law where truth matters.”
Combs was arrested and charged in September 2024 with racketeering (RICO) and sex trafficking violations over accusations that he ran a sprawling criminal operation aimed at facilitating freak-offs — elaborate events in which he allegedly forced Ventura and other women to have sex with male escorts while he watched and masturbated.
At his blockbuster trial this spring, Nash took the witness stand for the prosecution, telling jurors he had seen Diddy physically abuse Ventura and threaten to release sex tapes of her if she didn’t do what he demanded.
But when the verdict was handed down, jurors largely cleared Combs, acquitting him on the core RICO and sex trafficking charges that could have seen him sentenced to prison for life. He was convicted only on two lesser counts of transporting Ventura and others across state lines for prostitution.
Combs is set for sentencing on those convictions on Oct. 3. His lawyers asked the judge Monday to sentence him to 14 months in prison — a sentence that would see him released almost immediately on time served.
But even if he’s released quickly, Diddy is facing dozens of cases like Nash’s, accusing him of rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment and various other forms of sexual abuse. Several have been dismissed in recent months, including one case filed by Making the Band 2 contestant Sara Rivers and another case by a John Doe plaintiff, but many others remain pending.
Kentucky bluegrass/country band The Creekers, known for their breakthrough hit “Tennessee,” has signed with Warner Music Nashville/Warner Records, Billboard can exclusively reveal.
The six-member group includes Anna Blanton (fiddle), Ashton Bowling (cajon), Jagger Bowling (bass/vocals), Allen Hacker (vocals/rhythm guitar), Tanner Horton (vocals/lead guitar) and Scott Sutton (banjo/vocals). The group formed in the Eastern coal field region of Kentucky, in Leslie County, located under an hour away from the famed coal mining area of Harlan, Kentucky that inspired the Darrell Scott-written, Patty Loveless-recorded classic, “You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive.”
The Creekers released their first album, the genre-melding Pour Me In The Creek in 2024 and followed with 2025’s River Rat EP, which included “Tennessee,” the soulful bluegrass song that rose to the top 5 on Spotify’s Viral 50 chart this summer.
The song’s bluegrass underpinnings, topped with Hacker’s burly voice, have led some fans to compare the group’s sound to the Chris Stapleton-led, early iteration of bluegrass group The SteelDrivers. Other songs on The Creekers’ River Rat EP include “Lay You Down,” “Hyden, KY” and “Alex’s Song.”
Warner Music Nashville is home to artists including Kenny Chesney, Dan+Shay, Bailey Zimmerman, Braxton Keith, Cody Johnson, William Beckmann and Cole Swindell. Warner Records is home to artists including Zach Bryan, Billy Strings, Brandy Clark and Maddox Batson.
The signing comes as bluegrass, Americana and other roots-oriented music styles have surged in recent years, with the success of artists including Strings, Bryan, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson and more. Strings’s most recent album Highway Prayers debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s all-genre Top Album Sales Chart, marking the first bluegrass album in 22 years to top the chart, since the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack spent two weeks atop the chart in 2002 (and ruled the Bluegrass Albums chart for 15 weeks).

As fans of The Tonight Show know all too well, host Jimmy Fallon is a huge Taylor Swift fan. And in a video posted to his own and the late-night show’s social media accounts on Thursday (Sept. 25), the Swiftie may soon see the pop superstar take a seat on his couch.
The clip — captioned with a simple “Not a lot going on at the moment” — starts off with the comedian placing bets in a game of roulette, stacking his chips on black 10, black 6 and red 25. The wheel then spins, with the ball going round and round as an excited Fallon watches, until it finally lands on … black 13. “Ugh!” the frustrated TV personality sighs in exasperation. “Baby, that’s show business for you.”
As he walks around the offices of Rockefeller Center, a parade of decked-out showgirls complete with feathery headdresses and sequined costumes walks by with an “Excuse us, honey,” leaving a stunned Fallon behind.
So let’s break it down with some Swiftie math and an Easter egg hunt — something Fallon has done multiple times on his own show: The initial set of numbers were 10, 6 and 25, potentially indicating a show date of Monday, Oct. 6, which would be just three days after Swift’s upcoming new album, The Life of a Showgirl, drops. And 13, as any even casual Taylor Swift fan would know, is her favorite number. Follow that with his quote about show biz combined with the showgirls who saunter by? It’s all pretty convincing that the 14-time Grammy winner may be set for another appearance on NBC’s long-running late-night talk show.
Though neither The Tonight Show‘s nor Swift’s reps have confirmed the appearance, Swifties are convinced it’s happening after seeing Fallon’s video.
“TAYLOR SWIFT OCTOBER 6TH EXACTLY!!!” one person commented on the TikTok post.
“I LOVE WHEN JIMMY GETS IN ON THE EASTER EGGS YESSSS 😍😍😍,” added another on Instagram, while someone else commented, “Yess TAYINTERVIEW is backkkkk. It’s been a long time coming @jimmyfallon . Don’t forget to call Andrea up.”
In addition to this very likely Tonight Show appearance to promote The Life of a Showgirl, Swift is already confirmed to return to The Graham Norton Show on the album’s release day, Oct. 3. She’ll be appearing alongside Jodie Turner-Smith and Domhnall Gleeson.
