Milk & Honey Hires Andrew Goldstone as Head of Electronic

Longtime music manager Andrew Goldstone has joined the team at Milk & Honey as head of electronic music, the company’s CEO and founder Lucas Keller announced today (March 24).

With him, Goldstone brings manager Taren Smith along with clients including the dance/electronic artists Kream and Sullivan King.

Goldstone’s long history the electronic music space includes a run at the venerable dance label Astralwerks, where he signed artists including Fatboy Slim. He created his own imprint, F-111 at Warner Brothers before joining Ministry of Sound. After attending law school and serving at a legal firm, he left law and joined the team at Red Light Management, where he worked with dance icon Tiësto and others. Later at YMU, he worked with artists including 3lau, Lloyiso and Sullivan King.

“I’m thrilled to join a management company that’s so clearly focused on the breadth of electronic music,” Goldstone says. “Milk & Honey understands and provides what artists and managers need to thrive in today’s environment.”

Smith has worked as a manager in the electronic space for more than a decade at companies including YMU and more. In 2022 she was on Billboard’s list of the top women executives in music. She will serve as manager in Milk & Honey’s electronic music department.

Goldstone and Smith will report to Milk & Honey’s head of artist management Dave Frank, along with Keller. The hirings mark Milk & Honey now having electronic music managers at its offices in Los Aneles, New York and London.

“Today is truly a full circle moment for me,” says Frank. “I first worked with Andrew in 2013 and now a decade later I’m thrilled to bring him and Taren Smith to Milk & Honey. Andrew and Taren’s deep and nuanced understanding of the electronic music industry and the artists that drive it is an invaluable asset for Milk & Honey’s continued growth.”

“We’ve been growing our global electronic music management business over the last nine years now and have plans to double our investment this year,” says Keller. “We predict that the genre will have another large acceleration over the coming years, and we’re building one of the best global infrastructures to support it. Milk & Honey clients will be at a huge advantage to have Andrew Goldstone, a seasoned vet in the space, at the helm.”

Milk & Honey’s existing electronic music management clients include Dutch star Oliver Heldens and his Hi-Lo alias, Italian stalwart Benny Benassi and British producer Joel Corry and underground phenoms including J. Worra, Massano and Chris Avantgarde. The company also represents Ian Asher, KAS:ST, Wuki and more in the artist space.

The company says its cross-genre clients will collectively play over 1,500 shows in 2025, with Keller citing the company’s 15-person creative team and A&R access as keys to its ongoing success. Founded by Keller in 2014, Milk & Honey is a global music management and sports agency. Its clients, which include artists, songwriters, producers and more, received a collective 19 nominations at the 2025 Grammys.

The company’s sports clients include Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and wide receiver Courtland Sutton of the Denver Broncos. The firm entered the sports world three years ago with Jake Presser and Rawleigh Williams alongside Dave Frank and Alex Harrow.

Sabrina Carpenter Reveals Full ‘Man’s Best Friend’ Tracklist With Help From a Furry Friend

In a post-festival interview with Vulture published Tuesday (Aug. 5), the frontman revealed that his band only had a day’s notice before their big moment on stage, with Carpenter’s team reaching out to the 1970s/80s icons with an invitation, flying them into Chicago on a private plane and hosting them for rehearsals all within a 24-hour time period. “We had to really turn this thing around,” Bailey told the publication.

“We hopped a plane at seven in the morning, went in, and had the rehearsal,” he continued. “It was very quick and kind of sketchy. I was almost concerned about it. But by that evening, they had dialed everything in, and [Carpenter] did her homework on what verses she was going to take. We went out there and floated on all that energy.”

“She’s very cordial, very kind, and very approachable,” Bailey noted of the Gen Z singer, whose work he hadn’t previously heard aside from smash hit “Espresso.” “Her energy and our energy were very compatible and complementary to one another. How she puts her show together, in terms of how it accelerates and builds, was fantastic.”

The interview comes three days after Earth, Wind & Fire took the stage with Carpenter, who closed out the entire 2025 festival by headlining the last of its four days on Sunday (Aug. 3). The other headliners included Tyler, the Creator, Rufus du Sol and Olivia Rodrigo, while Doechii, Gracie Abrams, KATSEYE and dozens of other artists also performed over the weekend.

During Carpenter’s set, it came as a total surprise to her crowd when — in the middle of her usual setlist of tracks from Billboard 200-topping album Short n’ Sweet — Earth, Wind and Fire’s “Let’s Groove” started playing over the speakers. “We can just let loose, right? We can just groove,” the Girl Meets World alum said moments before the soul singers walked out on stage. “I thought, ‘Why not bring out my friends from Chicago?’ Give it up for Earth, Wind & Fire!'”

The musicians went on to perform “Let’s Groove” and “September” together. Summarizing the whole experience, Bailey added to Vulture, “We were honored to be asked and very appreciative to her and to her fans for embracing these moments we were able to share.”

Carpenter is now gearing up to release her seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend, on Aug. 29, following a whirlwind year of breakout success thanks to Short n’ Sweet. So far, fans have only gotten to hear one of the songs on the LP — “Manchild,” which dropped in June and hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 — but the vocalist did recently unveil the full tracklist.

Myke Towers & Quevedo Set Charts Ablaze With ‘Soleao’

Myke Towers and Quevedo propel “Soleo” to the top of Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart as the song jumps a spot to No. 1 on the list dated Aug. 9.

Their first collab, “Soleao” (which translates to “sunny” in English), was released May 20 on One World International/Warner Records/Warner Latina. It leads the way in its ninth chart week, after an 11% growth in audience impressions, to 9.1 million, across U.S. panel-contributing Latin radio stations in the tracking week of July 25-31, according to Luminate.

Towers claims his 15th Latin Airplay champ, and third consecutively of 2025, after one-week rulers “Otra Noche,” featuring Darell (February), and “Degenere,” featuring Benny Blanco (May).

Further, Towers adds to his satchel of wins as he accomplishes a third trio of No. 1s in a single year. Rewind to 2021, when (after landing two early chart-toppers, for that matter) the Puerto Rican delivered a streak of three straight No. 1s: “Bandido,” with Juhn; “Pareja del Año,” with Sebastián Yatra; and “Bésame,” with Luis Fonsi, that June, August and November, respectively. In 2024, Towers replicated the success with another trio of consecutive No. 1s: “Borracho y Loco,” with Yandel; “La Falda”; and “La Capi,” between that February and May.

Meanwhile, Quevedo makes a comeback to No. 1 on Latin Airplay. He previously led, for four weeks, with “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52,” with Bizarrap, in 2022.

Beyond its Latin Airplay coronation, “Soleao” likewise lifts 2-1 on Latin Pop Airplay. There, Towers tallies a third No. 1 and Quevedo, his first. Further, the song adds a second week atop Latin Rhythm Airplay.

Banda Carnaval Ignites Regional Mexican Airplay: Elsewhere on the Latin charts, Banda Carnaval secures its eighth No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay, and second of the year, as “Ya La Hice” bounds 9-1 with 6.6 million audience impressions, up 47%, in the tracking week. The act’s “Pude” led for a week in March.

“We are deeply grateful to our fans for taking ‘Ya La Hice’ to No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart,” Banda Carnaval tells Billboard. “This song represents a very special moment for us, and seeing it connect with people in this way fills us with pride and emotion. “Ya La Hice” earns Greatest Gainer honors, awarded to the song with the largest week-over-week increase in impressions at the format. Leading the charge during the tracking period are Univision stations, with standout support from KSCA-FM Los Angeles, KLNO-FM Dallas, and WOJO-FM Chicago.

Ice Cube‘s latest movie is off to a slow start on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. According to 15 critics (and counting), War of the Worlds so far has a zero percent rating on the Tomatometer scale, while thousands of moviegoers have given it at 14 percent rating on the Popcornmeter.

One review in particular, from Variety‘s Peter Debruge knocked the film for essentially doubling as a commercial for Amazon, writing, “Even with a Prime subscription, you have to sit through two minutes of ads to watch 90 more of what amounts to a feature-length commercial for all things Amazon,” while another from The Telegraph‘s Ed Power wasn’t really into all the screen time Cube got, saying, “It is silly, shoddy and features far too much of rapper-turned-leading man Ice Cube staring at a computer screen while looking as if he’s working through a reasonably urgent digestive ailment.”

An adaptation of H. G. Wells’ classic 1898 novel The War of the Worlds, this version is an Amazon Prime production directed by Rich Lee and also starring Eva Longoria. Cube plays Will Radford, a surveillance expert at the Department of Homeland Security, and most of the movie takes place on his computer screen as he deals with a hacker and an alien invasion while trying to keep his family out of harm’s way.

The synopsis on Prime Video reads as follows: “A gargantuan invasion is coming with this fresh take on the legendary novel of the same name. Renowned actress Eva Longoria is joined by iconic rapper and actor Ice Cube, along with Michael O’Neill and Iman Benson, for a thrilling out-of-this-world adventure that is filled with present-day themes of technology, surveillance, and privacy.”

Cube’s son, actor O’Shea Jackson Jr., replied to a tweet on X of a video clip from the movie in which an Amazon Prime delivery person tells Cube’s character to cop a USB from Amazon, so he can deliver it via Prime Air with a drone. “I truly can’t believe this adaptation of War Of The Worlds is actually a real film with a real budget and Ice Cube is actually in it,” a fan posted, with Jackson replying that the movie was “Shot during the pandemic. Released 5 years later.”

Billboard has reached out to Ice Cube’s team for comment.
