Christian Music Superstar Forrest Frank Backs Out of Awards Shows: ‘I Feel a Conviction’

Every example of a sincere Christian rejecting worldliness can work wonders, even if others do not feel compelled to follow.
For instance, in a thoughtful video posted Monday to the social media platform Instagram, Christian music superstar Forrest Frank explained why, henceforth, he would not attend music awards shows, including the Grammy Awards.
“I feel a conviction,” Frank said, highlighting the decision’s personal nature.
Of course, for those unlikely to win awards, refusal to attend awards shows would not amount to a sacrifice. Frank, however, falls into a different category.
According to Billboard, Frank’s hit song, “Your Way’s Better,” topped the Gabb Music Songs chart from April through June. The Gabb chart tracks monthly on-demand streams via Gabb Wireless’ music platform, which includes “only kid- and teen-appropriate content.”
In other words, Frank has an enormous fan base among young people — those who drive music sales.
Thankfully, the popular entertainer also has a strong Christian message.
“As Christians, it’s hard to know where the line in the sand is between being in the world and not of the world,” Frank said in the Instagram video. “And as a Christian artist, I dress kinda like the world. I kind of look like the world. My music can kind of sound like the world. So where’s the line in the sand drawn?”
Good question. And Frank had an equally good answer.
“I’m convicted, personally,” the artist continued, “that a line that I can draw is that I will not receive a trophy for something that is from Jesus and for Jesus.”
Frank then recalled that he struggled with the idea of receiving a trophy even at last year’s DOVE Awards. The Gospel Music Association will hold its 56th Annual DOVE Awards today in Nashville, TN.
“All glory to Jesus,” he said moments later. “Every name will fade away, including mine, except for one Name.”
Next, Frank explained that his struggle over last year’s awards led him to a powerful conclusion.
“But I feel a conviction to go even a step further,” he added, “and say, ‘I don’t know if I even want to step on the stage. I don’t know if I want to step in the room.’ And so I have decided to take a stance of non-participation. I will not be attending the DOVEs or the Grammys.”
Frank made his decision partly with young people in mind.
“I hope to be an example to our youth that the trophy is our salvation,” he added. “The trophy is that my name is listed in the Book of Life, and I get to have eternal life.
“What good is a piece of metal gonna do compared to that?”
Meanwhile, in a short post accompanying the video, Frank elaborated on his decision.
“Had a lot of people asking where i was today, so i felt like i needed to share on here,” he wrote. “No this is not a refusal to be a light in dark places … this is a refusal to go on stages and get awards. I already got the greatest award of all time. Hope y’all can understand love you guys.”

Many Christians, of course, share Frank’s struggle with the problem of being in the world but not of the world.
His answer to the awards-show dilemma, therefore, undoubtedly resonates with many readers.
In fact, for some readers, his question about salvation and eternal life probably called to mind the Gospel of Mark: “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8:36)
On the other hand, when it comes to living in the world, the Apostle Paul has warned us “not to quarrel over opinions.”
“One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him.” (Romans 14:1-3)
For comparison’s sake, recall Erika Kirk, widow of the slain conservative Christian icon Charlie Kirk. At last month’s memorial for her husband, Erika, after quoting Jesus on the Cross, publicly forgave Charlie’s murderer.
We cannot understand such mysteries, of course, but it felt like Erika’s act of forgiveness unleashed spiritual energy on a scale rarely experienced by human beings since the Crucifixion. Jesus, after all, commanded us to forgive as a condition of our own forgiveness by God.
“For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Matthew 6:14-15)
In short, forgiveness constitutes a command from Jesus. Avoiding award shows, on the other hand, amounts to a personal act of conscience.
But that does not make the act any less admirable. Indeed, we should celebrate the vast numbers of young people who will learn about what Frank decided, and why.

(VIDEO) President Trump Says He Authorized “A Lot” of “Democrat Oriented” Layoffs as Russ Vought’s Purge Begins

President Trump on Thursday told reporters that he is going to target “Democrat-oriented” programs and federal employees as Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought begins sweeping reductions in force (RIF) across the government.
The government shut down at midnight on October 1 because the Democrats refused to vote for a bill that did not include $1.5 trillion in new spending with taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits for illegal aliens.
The Democrats are planning to go so far as to keep the government closed until planes start falling out of the sky, one top Democratic aide said. They are holding the country hostage for their demands.
Trump is going to make them pay if they refuse to reopen the government. When the President was asked on Friday how many layoffs would be made and which agencies would face reductions, Trump stated, “It will be Democrat-oriented because we figure, you know, they started this thing, so they should be Democrat-oriented.”
“It’ll be a lot, and we’ll announce the numbers over the next couple of days, but it’ll be a lot of people, all because of the Democrats,” he continued.
“These are people that the Democrats wanted that, in many cases, were not appropriate. We fought them at the time, and it was ultimately signed in. And some of these people, these are largely people that the Democrats want. Many of them will be fired.”
WATCH:
Reporter: How many layoffs have you authorized for this first round, and from which agencies?
Trump: It’s going to be a lot, and it will be Democrat-oriented because we figure, you know, they started this thing, so they should be Democrat-oriented. It’ll be a lot, and we’ll announce the numbers over the next couple of days, but it’ll be a lot of people, all because of the Democrats. I mean, they want to give one and a half trillion dollars to people that came into the country illegally. More important than that, because we all have a big heart, we want people to be taken care of, but you know, we have zero people coming in. You know that, Glenn, right? That’s a pretty impressive number, even for a successful governor.
But we’ve had for the last four months, zero people coming in illegal. They’re coming in, but they’re coming in legally. They’re coming in through a process that’s really a really good process right now because we want people to come in, but they have to come in legally. So, what we’re doing is, as these different groups come do, we’re going to make a determination. Do we want them a lot? And I must tell you, a lot of them happen to be Democrat-oriented. These are people that the Democrats wanted that, in many cases, were not appropriate. We fought them at the time, and it was ultimately signed in. And some of these people, these are largely people that the Democrats want. Many of them will be fired.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Friday, Vought announced, “The RIFs have begun,” indicating that layoffs will begin immediately.
This comes after Trump met with Vought, a key architect of the Project 2025 blueprint, to determine which federal agencies, deemed by Trump as “political SCAM Democrat Agencies,” should face cuts and whether those cuts will be temporary or permanent. The day before the shutdown began, Trump threatened to take “irreversible” actions, “like cutting vast numbers of people out” and “cutting programs that they like.”

Jesse Kelly Warns of Communist Ideology Infiltrating and Taking Over American Churches (VIDEO)

Jesse Kelly of “The First” had a strong warning to viewers on communist ideology infiltrating and taking over American Churches.
“Let’s talk about communism in the Church. You know already because we talk about it all the time that communism is itself a religion,” Kelly warned.
“It is a way to see the world and a way to serve a power higher than yourself. That’s how communists view it,” Kelly said.
“If you are in the Soviet Union, you might just burn down the Churches and torture and kill the priests,” Kelly explained.
“American communists don’t have that option. They don’t. America’s Christian founding, America’s Church, it’s occupied by a bunch of people with guns,” Kelly continued.
“If that option is not available, what options do you have? You have to take them over. If you can’t burn them down and kill everyone, then you have to infiltrate them and marry your religion with theirs, until you can finally destroy it,” Kelly explained.
“So, what do you do? Well, you have to infiltrate the Seminaries, infiltrate the Church, and make it something completely against the Bible and frankly demonic,” Kelly warned.
Kelly showed a clip of a woke female pastor preaching anti-Christian rhetoric.
“The point is the people who sit in those pews, they think they are getting the teaching of God,” Kelly warned.
Kelly also showed a clip of another woke person twisting the Chrisitan faith by referring to the “god of pronouns.”
“Just know that this was done on purpose by the communists. They ran smack dab into the American Church, and they had to figure out a way to conquer it, and they are conquering it,” Kelly warned.
“Maybe your pastor gave a sermon on white privilege after George Floyd died. Mine did, by the way. I lost my Church that day,” Kelly said.
“Communists are infiltrating the Churches in order to destroy a competing religion,” Kelly warned.

Former Rock Singer and Convicted Pedophile Ian Watkins Killed by Another Inmate in UK’s ‘Monster Mansion’ Prison

Pedophile Ian Watkins has been killed in prison.
Monsters roam this Earth among us.
Ian Watkins, the former British rock singer from the band Lostprophets, has died after an attack by another inmate in HMP Wakefield prison.
He was serving a 29-year sentence for child sex offences – and we are not talking simply having child porn in his devices – which would be bad enough.
Watkins was what many would describe as a monster, once described as ‘one of the worst sex offenders in UK’s history’.
This morning, the former rock star was assaulted and killed at the West Yorkshire jail.
The Telegraph reported:
“He was attacked with a knife by another inmate, sources have confirmed. The prison, known as ‘monster mansion’ because of the dangerous offenders it houses, went into lockdown immediately after the incident.
In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: ‘At 9.39am this morning [Saturday], police were called by staff at HMP Wakefield reporting an assault on a prisoner. Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. Detectives from the homicide and major enquiry team are investigating and inquiries remain ongoing at the scene’.”

The Sun reported:
“His attacker, who justice sources said had been identified, is understood to have slashed his jugular, causing Watkins to die from blood loss.
And a source said: “Watkins has been killed in the most brutal way possible – and the attack was shocking, even by prison standards. He was targeted by another inmate who shanked him in the neck’.
‘Guards were nearby and raced to the scene pretty quickly – but there was nothing they could do, and they could not save him’.”
